Summary
Utilizes engineering methodology to support program launch readiness, production planning and continuous improvement. Provides the necessary weld engineering knowledge, processing skills and technical support to the company to ensure Loc Performance achieves optimal levels of safety, quality, productivity, and delivery to internal and external customer's satisfaction.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned
Development, review, maintenance, and control of engineering documentation. Including TDP (Technical Data Package), Bill of Material, Process Flow / Routings, Floor Layouts, PFMEA, and Work Instructions.
Provide support to estimating on quoting.
Develop and validate processes and processing times / standards.
Support lessons learned activities and implementation into quotes and standards.
Identification of tooling needs. Assistance in tool conceptualization.
Support manufacturing with process and document interpretation.
