Job Title: Order Picker

Location: Aldergrove, BC

Wage: $21-24/hour

Shift: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Order Picker for a warehouse located in Aldergrove, BC. The role involves picking orders using a paper pick sheet and a ride on electric pallet jack. You will need to lift and palletizing products ranging in weight from 10-50 lbs, throughout your shift. Once orders are built, you will need to wrap, label and stage them for shipment. Once you are trained on picking orders, you will also be trained on shipping, receiving and stock replenishment.

Responsibilities

• Order picking

• Loading and unloading shipments

• Lifting up to 50lbs throughout the day

• Daily operation of ride-on electric pallet jacks

• Scanning products using RF scanner

• Wrapping orders using an auto wrapper machine

• Additional in-house training on Reach Truck and/or Stand-Up Forklift will be provided

Essential Skills

• Ability to lift 50 lbs

• Strong attention to details

• Good communication skills

• Previous experience on Reach Truck and Stand-Up Forklift is an asset

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Direct experience moving products weighing up to 50lbs repetitively is an asset

Work Environment

You will be working in a medium sized temperature controlled warehouse with multiple aisles of racking and loading bays. The standard shift for this position is Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM and offers a starting wage of $21-24/hour depending on experience. Ideal candidates must be flexible with the possibility of switching to an earlier morning shift of 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM depending on order volume and seasonality.
