Job Title: Field Technician

Job Description

We are looking for a Field Technician in South Central PA to conduct field inspections for asphalt, soil, concrete, and grout.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct field inspections for asphalt, soil, concrete, and grout.

  • Drive to sites daily within approximately a 2-hour radius of South Central Pennsylvania.

  • Collect and analyze samples of materials.

  • Ensure compliance with specifications and standards.

Essential Skills

  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • Basic knowledge of materials such as asphalt, concrete, and soil.

  • Valid PA driver’s license.

  • Willingness to travel daily within a 2-hour radius of South Central Pennsylvania.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician – Grade I certification preferred, but not required. Training will be provided.

Work Environment

You will be working in a supportive team environment with a family atmosphere. Our company is small, with a total of 16 members including 4 other drafters. We offer half days on Fridays. Once permanent, you will receive 100% paid health benefits, along with vision and dental coverage, and IRA matching. The work involves both office settings and site visits. Initially, site visits will occur once a month, potentially increasing to weekly visits. All work is in-person with no remote options.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
