As an Engineering Intern with PCB Piezotronics, Inc., you will assist the Engineering Team with design and engineering support of the Powder Manufacturing and Crystal Manufacturing operations, through hands-on education, training and manufacturing experience. This engineering intern will be exposed to and collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and supply chain to assist our teams with developing manufacturing processes, fixtures, and equipment.

The intern is expected to have a professional disposition, be self-motivated, have a strong desire to learn and have effective communication skills.

Additional Duties:

  • Research and scope engineering solutions to manufacturing problems.

  • Drive continuous improvement and provide suggestions for improvement based on engineering observations.

  • Provide technical support to engineering team, including data collection and conducting experiments.

  • Work effectively both independently and within a team environment.

  • Present projects and report results to the Crystal and engineering teams.

  • Performs other related duties as directed.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: Enrolled in an Engineering Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree program

  • Experience: Microsoft Office experience to include Word and Excel. Effective communication skills demonstrated through educational experience

  • Travel: Minimal

Preferred Qualifications

  • Enrolled in Ceramic, Materials, Chemical, Mechanical, Aeronautical, or Manufacturing Engineering Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree program, at an accredited university

  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
