SCOPE: Maintenance Technicians are tasked with maintaining and repairing production equipment to ensure minimal downtime due to mechanical issues. Production equipment consists of machines such as single spindle, multi spindle, CNC machines, testing equipment, and parts cleaners. RESPONSIBILITIES: Required: Efficiently and effectively provide maintenance support in order to meet the needs of customers, both internal and external while maintaining a safe and clean work environment for employees. Provide technical expertise to support daily operations and to achieve significant improvement in production related objectives. Actively work on and engage with all department projects, tasks and objectives. Perform corrective and preventative maintenance repairs and works on a wide variety of electrical, mechanical, electronic and electromechanical production equipment and building systems. Must be familiar with typical mechanics hand tools, precision measuring instruments and electrical test equipment such as multi meters. Assists with set up activities, installation and setup of new equipment. Troubleshoot (diagnose and resolve) breakdowns of hydraulic, pneumatic and high voltage electrical systems without assistance.
