Aloft Aviation Aircraft Mechanic in Lakeville, Minnesota

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The Aloft Aviation Aircraft Mechanic plays a vital role in ensuring safe and effective aircraft operations for our student pilots, flight instructors, aircraft renters, and the general public. In addition, the Aircraft Mechanic must meet all FAA/FAR regulatory compliance and follow all required maintenance manual procedures prescribed for each aircraft repair. Specific job tasks and duties include: Perform 50-hour, 100-hour, annual maintenance, and general maintenance on our flight school aircraft fleet and fly in customers. Perform maintenance inspections and general maintenance on our jet fleet. Report to lead mechanic and/or maintenance director, inventory, and scheduling needs. Maintain satisfactory records and logbook entries for all aircraft. Follow the appropriate maintenance manuals and illustrated parts catalogue for each individual aircraft. Create and fully complete work orders for each aircraft inspection or maintenance task. Turn in work orders to the DOM once fully completed. Keep hangars organized, clean and hazard free. Keep individual workstations clean and organized. Organize, mark and store individual aircraft parts in appropriate storage/bin area. Report any discrepancies or gray areas to the director of maintenance and follow their prescribed direction. Complete maintenance tasks within the allotted time frame for the task. Report reasons for overage to the director of maintenance. Perform related duties as assigned by your supervisor. Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
