Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team. The primary focus of this role will be order and data entry, ensuring accurate and timely processing of prescriptions and patient information. Responsibilities
Collect faxed prescriptions and perform data entry
Assist patients with their prescriptions and insurance queries
Accurately enter dosing information and manage enrollments
Handle controlled substance reports and verify CS data
Ensure compliance with Prescription Drug Monitoring Program regulations
No phone handling, insurance claims, or prior authorizations required
Requirements
Registered Pharmacy Technician
Certified Pharmacy Technician
Proficiency in data entry and order entry systems
Strong customer service skills
Experience with Microsoft Suite (Teams, Outlook, Excel)
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Proficient in using Prescription Drug Monitoring Programs
Ability to handle controlled substance reporting and verification
Good computer skills
Work Environment
This position is 100% onsite initially, with the possibility of transitioning to a hybrid work schedule after 90 days, based on performance metrics. The hybrid schedule includes 3 remote days and 2 in-office days, with Fridays always being remote. Enjoy internal benefits, holiday/PTO, and opportunities for promotion from within.
Schedule
Working hours are Monday to Friday, with shifts falling between 8 AM to 6 PM (8-5, 9-6).
No weekend shifts.
Remote work will require an extra monitor and an HDMI cord.
