Adecco is seeking a Line Cook for a client in Lake Placid, NY. This is a direct hire opportunity making you eligible for client benefits upon starting! Pay rates ranging from $19.56 - $22.99 per hour!

In this role you will assist Food & Nutrition Services Department in multiple areas, including grill, pantry, bakery, service specialist, cashier, steward, caterer, hotline production, and cold food production.

Responsibilities:

• Follow up and follow through in assigned production area

• Supports the Sous Chef by prepping as needed for service, working stations during service including grill and omelet stations, and serving food

• Maintains and monitors food service areas, ensuring the highest level of products and service are readily available in a clean and well-maintained kitchen, service, and dining room

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED

• Valid driver's license to operate department motor vehicles

• Thorough knowledge of proper sanitation and safety practices related to day-to-day responsibilities and health department regulations. ServSafe Certified required

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a production chef/apprentice in quantity food production

• Minimum 2 years of team leader experience with proven ability to lead and guide team members through daily assignments

Available Shift:

Monday - Friday, 1:00pm - 9:00pm (off Saturday & Sunday). This full-time, non-exempt position is intended to work 40 hours per week.

Pay Details: $19.56 to $22.99 per hour
