Job Description
The Senior Accountant will assist the Consolidations and Reporting team with reporting systems, policies, priorities, and procedures relating to financial management, financial closing, projections, budgets, cost management, and payroll.
This role supports the Senior Accounting Manager in reviewing financial statements with management personnel.
Responsibilities include preparation of the month-end Consolidated reporting package, handling month-end close processes, journal entries related to leases, inter-company transactions, general accruals, and monthly balance sheet reconciliations, including intercompany reconciliations.
The position also involves oversight and monitoring of documentation requirements for journal entries and account reconciliations, preparation of monthly and quarterly analytical reporting including commentary on balance sheet and P&L variances, and assisting in the preparation of accounting policies and standard operating procedures.
Additionally, the role includes monitoring time and expense processing along with analysis, updating necessary exchange rates in the system, assisting with the preparation of the cash flow forecast, and leading system improvements if directed.
Hard Skills
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
5+ years experience/training in accounting
SAP experience preferred
Candidates with CPA's preferred
Experience with OneStream Consolidations software or Blackline
Experience in Consolidations and Reporting
Experience with intercompany transactions
Experience in preparing reports and financial statements
Work Environment
Hybrid work environment with 3 days in office and 2 days from home
