Your Role:

The Compensation Manager is responsible for the execution and communication of compensation programs and policies that enable the attraction and retention of top talent. In this role, you will consistently partner with business leaders, HR partners, finance, and recruiting to execute solutions to a myriad of compensation challenges. You will have the opportunity to:

  • Respond to Leadership, HR, and other user requests for a variety of on-demand human resources reports which may include; employee counts, trend analysis, workforce distribution, system audit reports, and other ad hoc requests as needed.

  • Provide market analysis and recommendations for all salaried and hourly positions within the Business Units.

  • Complete compensation audits on a regular basis to ensure internal and external pay equity.

  • Develop and document compensation procedures to streamline processes and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Facilitate the merit increase and incentive pay processes for hourly and salary employees below the VP level.

  • Perform periodic audits of data entered into HR systems. Ensure report results are consistent, reliable, and accurate.

  • Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.

  • Provide knowledge and guidance of current and proposed state/federal laws, rules, and regulations affecting Human Resources.

We need you to have:

  • BA/BS degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.

  • 5+ years of related progressive HR experience in Compensation.

  • Proficient in MS Office and exceptionally strong excel skills including using formulas, pivot tables, etc.

  • Knowledge and familiarity with HR policies, systems to develop and implement division processes and standards.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate and influence at all levels within the organization.

  • Self-directed with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple accountabilities and multiple internal customers.

  • Strong analytical skills as well as organizational skills.

  • Great attention to detail to ensure highest level of quality/rigor in reports and data analysis.

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule during key business deadlines.

  • Must be team oriented with the ability to work on high collaboration and performance teams.

Icing on the cake:

  • MBA or other advanced degree.

  • PHR or SPHR certification.

  • Proficient in ADP.
