Responsibilities Job Description

Ebenezer is looking for a Server/Culinary Assistant . This role is responsible for dining room meal service to our senior age residents and maintaining supplies in the kitchenettes for our Senior Assisted Living Community in Lake Elmo, MN.

This casual food services schedule includes;

• On-call role that helps with last minute or preplanned needs

• Day/evening/nights

• Weekends as needed

Arbor Glen is located blocks from downtown Lake Elmo Minnesota, conveniently north of Hwy 94 and in between the cities of North St. Paul and Stillwater. As one of our newer senior living communities it features 84 units between the independent, assisted living and memory care apartments. Managed by Ebenezer, delivering great customer service is our top priority and is created by building passionate and skilled care teams who get to know their residents as if they were family.

• Serves prepared meals to residents and ensures the dining area is clean and inviting

• Promotes and encourages positive resident relations and satisfaction with their meal service

• Sanitizes equipment, work areas and maintains supplies

• Assists with meal prep and special events

• Provides kitchen support when needed with dishwashing and cleaning of floors

• Answers phones and communicates requests appropriately

Required:

• Excellent customer service skills and aptitude, teamwork and positive attitude required

• Desire to work with seniors

• Ability to interact empathetically and communicate effectively with residents and staff

• Prefer some work experience in a customer service setting, but not required

• Ebenezer offers a robust compensation package with excellent benefits and wages ranging from $16.00 to $22.00. Wage determinations will be based on similar experience.
