Join Trane Technologies as a Manufacturing Engineer in La Crosse, WI. In this role, you will operate innovative engineered systems and develop, coordinate, and implement sustainable

manufacturing production processes. Your cross-functional team will be focused on delivering

Where is the work:

This position will be onsite each day in La Crosse, WI and is considered safety-sensitive.

What you will do:

• Work directly with welders in the weld training lab on different levels of proficiency and skill sets. Skill sets vary from no experience to some industry experience both externally and internally.

• Coordinate with the other trainers and managers on the class schedules, operations requirements, and duration of training per the standards for the weld application.

• Maintain welder training records and communicate welder training continuity requirements per the ASME code.

• Upgrade welder skill sets as necessary as requested by the operation leadership team to maintain required skills.

• Coach and mentor trainees as they gain skill, provide feedback on progress and skill to employee and managers.

• Partner with on-site EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) to ensure all equipment meets safety regulations compliant with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration).

What we expect of you:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Degree preferred in Engineering or related technical disciplines; minimum of high school diploma or GED required.

· Pressure vessel code welding, or Pulse MIG welding (GMAW-P) applications experience a plus.

· Ability to obtain certified weld inspection certificate (CWI) within 1 year of hire.

• Effective communication at multiple levels coupled with ability to build relationships.

• Growth mindset – desire to expand technical skillset.

• Results-driven to maintain accountability and customer-focus

• PFMEA experience preferred.

Compensation:

Base Pay Range: $80,000-$110,000.
