Essential Duties/Responsibilities :

· Coordinates global QMS document management system, communicating centralized requirements and formats, and ensuring consistent document approval workflows are utilized.

· Maintains and updates databases, systems, or logs. May be responsible for data entry or checking accuracy of data input by others to ensure proper work flow, approvals, and/or compliance requirements.

· Organizes and maintains files or electronic storage of drawings, reports, files, proposals, specifications, training records and/or other company documentation.

· Verifies, collates, and interprets the output of systems, reports, charts, etc. May coordinate with and distribute reports to other appropriate departments.

· Reviews documents for accuracy and completeness; may include interpreting product or contractual requirements, ensuring documents meet compliance and regulatory standards, and may prepare process documents, status reports, assign and/or monitor document revisions/numbers.

· Performs material testing, analysis, and data recording to support material acceptance, and ad-hoc requests. All testing is to be performed in compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 requirements as well as ASTM/ISO test standards.

· Prepares tests samples by through various molding, post processing, and conditioning methods as required to support material tests.

· Performs, documents, and monitors Reference and Collaborative testing to ensure test method and equipment to ensure inter and intra lab alignment.

· Schedule and monitor internal audits.

· Support Material Compliance and GT’s regulatory status through maintenance of our chemical substances and raw materials information utilizing the SAP EHS module. Monitor and direct substance changes, where used status, and consumption for substances of high concern.

· Review and make usage decisions on raw materials and resins according to specifications, standardized testing procedures and reporting methods.

· Performs job in a safe manner, maintains awareness of SDS requirement for required chemicals, and adheres to chemical safety standards and practices consistently.

· Performs advanced analytical tests, produces laboratory reports, and completes request system tasks in a clear and descriptive manner, for status communication and updates with business and production groups.

· Acts as a resource to less experienced workers by providing on-the-job training.

· Assists Materials Lab Supervisor and Materials Engineers with testing, test data recording, data analysis and equipment IQOQPQ.

· Support Lean and Six Sigma improvement activities by participating in teams, collecting and analyzing data, identifying opportunities for improvement, and ensuring quality and process related documentation is updated.

Required Minimum Qualifications

Education/Certifications: High school diploma required, Associates degree or above preferred.

Skills and Experience:

· Minimum 5 years if relevant experience in testing and/or technical document management.

· Good communication skills, including the ability to work cross-functionally required.

· Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, and SAP database is required. Knowledge of Dessault 3D Experience preferred.

· Proficiency in ERP Systems -SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, etc preferred.

· Action-oriented – ability to develop and execute tactical plans, working independently as well as coaching site functions; Acts with a sense of urgency and takes well-reasoned, proactive action when goals are not being met.

· Ability to independently write advanced technical reports.

· Ability to work in a global team environment, with accountability for personal tasks. High level of accuracy and attention to detail when working with test data. Commitment to quality and safety.

· Understanding of LSS tools & manufacturing fundamentals preferred.

· Other sensory or physical capabilities required: normal or corrected vision and hearing, normal sense of touch, normal ability to speak.
