Google Operations Lead, Cash and AR Management in Kraków, Poland

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 4 years of experience in operations with a focus on process improvement techniques.

  • Experience in a customer-facing team/role, balancing operational results with customer experience and satisfaction scores.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment leading complex operational initiatives to successful outcomes.

  • Experience in order to cash operations (e.g., credit, collections, cash operations).

  • Experience in running operations teams with a focus on measurable results.

  • Experience in data extraction using SQL or other scripting languages.

  • Experience in process design/re-engineering.

  • Ability to autonomously identify, prioritize, and drive multiple initiatives.

The Revenue to Cash Operations (RCO) team manages Google's cash processes globally across all product areas, including Ads, Digital Goods, Cloud and Hardware. We ensure Google’s businesses are transformed to cash in an efficient, controlled, and compliant manner. Our team powers Google's ambitious growth agenda by creating innovative ways to manage our complex set of billing and payment transactions, making processes more efficient and scalable, minimizing operational risk, integrating Google acquisitions and new products, connecting with new payment and invoicing partners and so much more.

The Cash and AR Management (CARMA) team within RCO manages Alphabet's Accounts Receivables balance and is responsible for credit risk, collections, cash applications and the associated subledger and operations controls and analytics.

From developing forward-thinking analysis to generating management reports to scaling our automated financial processes, the Finance organization is an important partner and advisor to the business.

  • Design and manage scalable, controlled and compliant processes and analyze complex datasets to understand drivers for process improvement.

  • Mention productivity, quality, and risk levels within the operational teams and processes.

  • Identify the current process, policy pain points, redundant steps, or opportunities to streamline.

  • Provide performance reporting and analysis to executive management.

  • Collaborate with RCO and CARMA organizations to ensure high standard of execution on operational activity including Service Level Agreements, adherence to documented processes and quality of results.
