About the GenAI Team The GenAI (Generative AI) team is at the forefront of applying the latest advancements in artificial intelligence to optimize customer experience, streamline operations, and drive digital transformation within GPC. We leverage state-of-the-art AI techniques, such as natural language processing (NLP), and generative models, to create cutting-edge products and solutions. Position Purpose: We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Scientist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine learning, artificial intelligence, and cloud technologies. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive insights and recommendations to inform business decisions. You will work on a small agile team that is distributed across Krakow, PL and Atlanta, GA. Our environment is fast-paced with a focus on experimentation and learning. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities * Develop machine learning models that drive actionable insights to support business decisions. * Build and deploy artificial intelligence applications that enable automation and optimization across various business domains like Search, Recommendations and Discovery * Develop generative AI applications leveraging a neural network such as LLM * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for data-driven decision making and drive the adoption of machine learning and artificial intelligence across the organization. * Utilize AI cloud technologies such as Google Cloud Platform and Azure Cloud for AI powered business applications * Work with large and complex datasets to extract meaningful insights that drive business value. * Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels of the organization. * Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in machine learning, artificial intelligence, and cloud technologies and evaluate their potential application to our business.
