As a Global Mobility Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting HR services relating to Avanade´s Global Mobility offering. You will ensure timely execution of tasks and responsibilities enabling successful case management to elevate Avanade´s employee experience.
You will handle international mobility cases including permanent relocation and international assignments to build strong Avanade mobility support.
Reporting directly to the Global Mobility Leader, you will be a key player within the wider Total Rewards team.

What you will do:
Deal with Remote work requests on a day-to-day basis. This will involve reviewing cost estimates, reporting, tracking, and formal approval of requests
Manage and process incoming requests from employees and HR as one of the first points of contact, guiding the business on policy application
Work in partnership with Regional HR for assignment initiations, review and approval of assignment documentation and financial arrangements
Ensure immigration and tax compliance for each employee move/ remote working opportunity
Coordinate with other departments such as Payroll, Finance, Legal, and Travel
Monitor, and review monthly reporting for assignees, relocations, and other reporting
Manage the relationship and arrangements with key external providers; and resolve vendor, employee issues or concerns related to the global mobility program and/or escalate as needed
Skills and experiences
A number of years of proven previous experience as a Global Mobility Specialist
Professional services experience advantageous
Knowledge of global mobility processes including, experience with immigration/visa requirements, roles and responsibilities, finance methodology, relocation advice, and a sound grasp of what makes mobility programs successful for all stakeholders
General knowledge of immigration laws and rules, Expat Tax and salary/payroll related issues
Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
