Cat Digital is expanding its intern program into Slovakia. We are seeking students with an interest in technology to join our team to help us establish and grow our presence, organization, and culture. As an intern, you will be exposed to cutting-edge technologies and have the opportunity to collaborate with top professionals working on very high impact and visibility products. Internship Dates:

Monday June 16th until Friday September 5th, 2025 (student part time contract).

After successful completion of the initial 12-week program, the best interns will have the opportunity to join our part time intern job and continue their career at Caterpillar.

Compensation:

8 euros gross / per hour (up to 640 euro gross per month)

The scope of the intern program will be focused on:

Applications Observability, Monitoring, Alerting

Applications interns will have the unique opportunity to learn about a variety of applications and systems used by hundreds of thousands of end users. The applications serve all necessary needs of users for full after-market care of their heavy machinery fleets, such as condition monitoring, direct purchasing of spare parts, full process of machinery inspections. All of the solutions are using a variety of standard as well as innovative technologies – Salesforce, JavaScript, React & React Native, Java, Node.JS, Azure and many more.

Observability, Monitoring, Alerting: AIOP's & Tier 2 Ops and Support Monitoring - The selected intern will have the unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and collaborate with top professionals working on very high impact and visibility products. Intern will be part of the team that is responsible for implementation and maintenance of systems generating operational insights and drive corrective actions within Caterpillar's whole digital Ecosystem using - AWS cloud, BigPanda, ThousandEyes, AppDynamics, SQL/NoSQL databases, etc.

Basic qualifications:

• We prefer students of 2nd class of bachelor’s study in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Visualization, Software Engineering, or related area ​

• English written and spoken (at least B1 level)

• Analytical thinking, willing to learn and develop, intellectual curiosity.

Nice to have:

• Interest in technologies like Python, Java, SQL, Machine Learning, Salesforce, React, JavaScript, Node.js.

• Participation in school clubs or student organizations
