Providence St. Joseph Health Physical Therapist - PKIMC PT in Kodiak, Alaska

The Physical Therapist plans and conducts medically prescribed physical therapy programs to restore function and prevent disability following disease, injury, or loss of body part. Helps patients/residents reach maximum performance levels by utilizing various mechanical and electrical equipment, and prosthetic and orthotic devices. Evaluates, records, and reports patient progress.

This posting is for multiple openings for a Physical Therapist at Providence Kodiak Alaska Medical Center, AK. We offer several openings for various FTEs and shifts. We are hiring for the following positions in the Physical Therapy Department:

Physical Therapist - Full-Time (1.0 FTE, Day Shift, 40 Hours Per Week) - $5,000 Hiring Bonus for eligible external hires, and Relocation Assistance available for eligible hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.

Physical Therapist - Per Diem, 0.01 FTE, Day Shift, Hours Per Week are as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy.
  • Upon hire: Alaska Physical Therapist License
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree or
  • Ph.D.
  • 1 year of experience.
