Local Furniture establishment has a full time opportunity for a General Laborer - Delivery. The appropriate candidate should be able to conduct the following types of tasks:
- Load/unload stock.
- Receive stock items, verify items match bill of lading and sale invoices.
- Unpack and assemble stock as needed.
- Attach identifying tags to products.
- Follow instructions to determine work assignments or material or equipment needs.
- Install protective devices, such as bracing, padding, or strapping, to prevent shifting or damage to items being transported.
- Clean and maintain equipment and stock storage areas to ensure that inventory is protected.
- Carry needed tools or supplies from storage or trucks and return them after use.
- Connect electrical equipment to power sources so that it can be tested before use.
