Black Horse Animal Hospital Veterinary Technician in Kinzers, Pennsylvania
Black Horse Animal Hospital seeks veterinary technician. Under veterinarian supervision, veterinary technician will care and treat both large animals and small animals. Specific duties include the following: provide on-call and emergency services for large and small animals; perform bovine artificial insemination and bovine reproductive care; perform mobile radiology services for large animals; administer vaccinations and immunizations on farm sites for large animals; test biological specimens to gather information on patient conditions; maintain medical records and medical equipment; assist veterinarians in caring for large and small animals. This position requires daily domestic travel to client sites (farms) within a 20-mile radius of the practice location in Kinzers, PA. Applicants must have an Associates Degree in Veterinary Technology, Animal Science, or related field of study.
