As a Control Systems Technical Coordinator/Engineer you will, orchestrate the seamless operation and peak performance of critical OT systems such as DeltaV DCS, Allen-Bradley PLCs, CCTV, and Telemetry systems. By maintaining and optimizing site OT networks—including fiber optic and Ethernet infrastructures—you will guarantee unwavering reliability through proactive monitoring and swift resolution of network issues. Drive innovation as you identify and implement performance enhancements in process control logic and instrumentation. Additionally, integrate state-of-the-art equipment into plant DCS systems, ensuring flawless execution from design through configuration, while providing pivotal engineering support across project phases to achieve sustained operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure continuous operational availability and peak performance of OT systems, including DeltaV DCS, Allen-Bradley PLCs, CCTV systems, and various Telemetry systems.

  • Maintain and support site OT networks, including fiber optic and Ethernet networks, ensuring reliability through monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving network communication issues. Document network changes as needed.

  • Identify performance improvement opportunities and implement solutions to enhance process control logic, instrumentation, and control devices, ensuring compliance with approval and implementation processes.

  • Integrate new equipment into the plant DCS independently, from wiring design and documentation to device configuration and creation of control modules using standard templates.

  • Conduct troubleshooting of instrumentation, electrical, and control systems, covering protocols like Foundation Fieldbus, AS-I, DeviceNet, and Ethernet communications.

  • Provide technical assessments and engineering support for new control strategies and equipment, collaborating with colleagues across project lifecycles to ensure effective implementation and ongoing support.

    You bring:

  • Associate degree in engineering/technical field or equivalent verifiable experience in industrial instrumentation and controls, with a minimum of 3 years of experience; or bachelor’s degree in an engineering field, with a minimum of 1 year of experience.

  • Experience in industrial electrical, instrumentation, and controls in Pharma or Food & Beverage manufacturing preferred

  • Proficient in DeltaV and DeltaV Batch systems

  • Skilled in bus communications protocols: Foundation Fieldbus, AS-I, DeviceNet, Ethernet IP, Modbus

  • Experienced with Allen-Bradley PLC systems

  • Knowledgeable in industrial safety instrumented systems (IEC61511), process instrumentation installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
