DESCRIPTION OF WORK As a Transportation Construction Inspector Supervisor, you will create an environment conducive to delivering efficient transportation services by prioritizing maintenance, enhancing technology, improving service quality, and ensuring prompt customer service. Your duties will include overseeing the Highway Occupancy Permit programs to align with departmental goals, coordinate efforts, and allocate necessary resources for effective program implementation.  You will encourage employee participation in quality improvement initiatives, streamline operations, and foster a sense of ownership and pride in work results. You will also review and evaluate work progress to ensure compliance with established criteria, maintain relationships with stakeholders, and manage the county highway occupancy permit office in accordance with regulations and policies.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.   REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as a Transportation Construction Inspector; or Two years of construction inspection experience and an associate's degree in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, geotechnical engineering, surveying engineering technology, or a closely related engineering technology; or An equivalent combination of experience and training. Condition of Employment:

This position will require possession of a valid non-commercial Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License or equivalent. Other Requirements: You must meet the PA residency requirement.
