CSL Behring Training and Communications Lead- Legal Operations in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania

The Opportunity

This is a Manager level role. Reporting to the Global Head Legal Operations, you will develop and implement training and communications strategies for the wider Legal department. You will develop, deliver, and manage training programs, and communicate strategies tailored to the needs of the legal department and its business clients. You will oversee the development of tailored training modules and materials on multiple topics, such as the use of legal technology tools, new processes, regulatory changes, and best practices. You will promote an important narrative and define strategic messaging, while leading the creation of key communications and ensuring all communications are consistent and on message.

The Role

As the Training & Communications Lead, you design and implement a comprehensive communication strategy that ensures clear, and effective communication within the legal department and our business clients and create regular department updates, announcements, and newsletters to keep the stakeholders informed and to support our people through changes to ways of working.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess the training needs of the legal department by collaborating with other Legal sub-function leads

  • Oversee the maintenance and updating of training materials, ensuring they remain current and relevant

  • Create and advise on a central style standard so that internal communications and reports have a consistent voice, look, and feel

  • Collaborate with other departments to understand their training needs related to legal processes or tools

  • Implement mechanisms, such as surveys and focus groups, to gather feedback on training programs and communication initiatives

  • Leverage modern training and communication tools and platforms to deliver content effectively

  • Define communication channels and create content for blogs, newsletters

  • Develop and manage the budget for training and communication activities

  • Develop and manage the Legal training Academy by defining the training strategy and developing e-learning modules/courses

Your skills and experience

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree is required, MBA or equivalent preferred

  • PMP or similar certification preferred

  • Project Management experience is a plus

  • Change Management or equivalent certification is a plus

  • Instructional Design experience would be helpful

  • 3+ years of experience managing training and communications initiatives in a corporate legal environment

  • Knowledge of new and emerging platforms for engagement with target audiences.

  • Experienced in developing strategic or departmental training and communications materials that require consensus gathering from multiple constituents

  • Experience leading communications for enterprise-wide change programs

  • Experience with change management and the development of efficient communication content with a high user adoption

  • International travel up to 10% may be required
