ABOUT THE ROLE

As a CBRE Integrated Laboratory Solutions Technician, you will support a pharmaceutical client with maintaining and handling lab development equipment.

This job is part of the Critical and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for technical maintenance services in critical client environments.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Ensure prompt, flexible, customer focused equipment support. Maintain compliance with statutory, regulatory, and engineering standards.

Perform equipment maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment including Tunnel Washer, Autoclave, Filler/Capper, Parts Washer, Hydrogen Peroxide Chamber and Various Development lab Equipment (Non-GxP).

Identify and order parts to perform maintenance activities. Help facility coordinators maintain inventory.

Point of contact for client within site laboratories to support service requests and delivery.

Assist management with device calibration and return, document control, and verification.

Identify and report deferred maintenance, its impact, risk, reliability, efficiency, labor hours, energy use, water use, environmental emissions, and utility costs.

Maintain and improve service logging process and asset database. Create, and review supporting documentation service reports.

Manage performance of scientific equipment and systems using KPIs to suggest improvements and influence change.

Maintain systems to keep accurate records of all equipment-related faults. Support data-related initiatives such as contract renewal, asset replacement, etc.

Maintain the proper level of documentation to demonstrate facilities, plant, and equipment are properly maintained, follow all QEH&S requirements and approved maintenance programs.

Attend client meetings to review ongoing performance, areas for continual improvement.

Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.

Impact through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks are described in detail.

Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

Experience working in a regulated environment such as pharmaceutical R&D or manufacturing environment preferred with experience on equipment including Autoclave, Tunnel Washer, Parts Washer, Filler/Capper, Hydrogen Peroxide Chamber, and various lab equipment.

Experience in Lab Gowning Procedures and GMP Documentation requirements.

Knowledge of Health & Safety and Lock Out procedures is preferred.

Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.

Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.

Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

Basic math skills. Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups.
