Job Description

As a Phlebotomist, you will ensure the safety of donors and the purity of plasma products through effective collection processes. Your responsibilities include monitoring donors for equipment errors or reactions, taking appropriate actions based on standard operating procedures (SOPs), and interacting professionally with donors. You will maintain a clean and efficient workspace, manage supplies, and assist with administrative duties. Adherence to cGMPs, SOPs, and regulations is crucial. This role requires flexibility to work extended shifts and any day from Sunday to Saturday.

Hard Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • 6+ months of phlebotomy experience or new phlebotomy certification

  • Experience in a regulated environment (FDA, GMP, SOP) or fast food industry

  • Attention to detail for donor and machine setup

Soft Skills

  • Customer service

  • Bedside manner

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Work Environment

Shifts will vary between Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday based on business needs. Shift end times can extend to 8-8:30 PM for cleanup. The work environment involves standing for extended periods and occasional exposure to cold temperatures. A set schedule promotes work-life balance. The facility operates without appointments, managing heavy patient flow, and you will be required to wear scrubs or provided PPE depending on the day.
