Aerotek Maintenance Technician in Kennesaw, Georgia
Aerotek is currently partnering with a company in Kennesaw, GA looking to hire a skilled maintenance technician ASAP!
Shift: 1st
Schedule: 6am-3:30pm
Description:
Perform regularly scheduled preventive maintenance and monthly safety checks
Make modifications to equipment and facilities as scheduled through the work order system
What they do: makes tablets for chemicals and wrappers for the chemicals as well.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent
4 years of experience in an industrial maintenance environment
1 year of experience with electrical and mechanical systems in an industrial environment
1 year of experience with tools, procedures and methods utilized in an industrial maintenance environment.
1 year of experience with electronic and PLC based applications in an industrial environment.

Physical Demands:
Must be able to lift/carry 50lbs
Must be able to pass a drug screen and physical exam
Preferred Qualifications:
Formal vocational training in plant maintenance activities with emphasis on industrial applications or equivalent job experience in electricity, power distribution, industrial electrical wiring, mechanics, machine operations, general plumbing, heating ventilation and air conditioning, and/or boiler operations
Able to work in difficult situations such as confined spaces, heat, and heights
Experience with pumps, welding, bearings, electrical safety, forklifts, gears, hydraulics, valves, and rigging
