ALS Office Coordinator-Part Time in Kelso, Washington

About the role:

Provides general administrative support to the ALS-Asset Care office management team and maintains front office responsibilities.

Responsibilities

About you:

  • Tracks employee work hours in spreadsheet for payroll submission to corporate offices

  • Tracks technician experience hours in spreadsheet and updates certification form

  • Matches purchase orders to vendor bills for accuracy and submits to corporate Accounts Payable for processing

  • Purchases routine office supplies and monitors inventory; may work with vendors in negotiation pricing and delivery options

  • Assists staff with the preparation and submission of monthly expense reports

  • Drafts and edits general correspondence as requested with attention to detail and accuracy

  • Assists staff with researching and booking both domestic and international travel

  • Assists with new hire paperwork and the corporate on-boarding process

  • General filing and retention duties

  • Picks up and distributes company mail

  • Receives and processes deliveries at front desk

  • Opens and closes the reception area ensuring visitors and employees are handled in a professional and courteous manner

  • Professionally answers telephone calls, route callers to appropriate individual or takes detailed messages

Required Qualifications:

  • High School graduate or General Education Degree (GED)

  • 3-5 years’ experience in an office environment

  • Knowledge of computer processes & software, i.e. MS Windows, MS Office package

  • Ability to speak and hear clearly while communicating with visitors and staff

Physical Demands:

  • Able to speak and hear clearly while communicating with staff, management, and clients.

  • Able to sit and /or stand for 100% of an 8 hour day.

  • Dexterity in hands and fingers to operate computer and other equipment.

  • Must have average vision and able to see to read reports and operate equipment.
