Do you want drive demand planning in Grundfos, ensuring that we consistently deliver robust, reliable and high quality demand plans to our Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) process, through developing and supporting best practice and leading innovation?
What is the job about?
The Global Product Forecast Manager will be responsible for delivering high-level analytical support, increasing automation in demand planning, and support deploying AI/ML within our Global Forecasting team. This role is part of the Group Demand & Forecast Planning team, which excels in setting the foundation for the company's demand planning activities. You will work closely with Divisional demand planning managers, supply planning managers, and key Group functions to support planning process for specific product chains. The Global Product Forecast Manager is responsible for identifying areas for improvement, conducting training, and providing practical input to ongoing activities to enhance our demand planning process.
To be considered for this role, you must reside in the Houston area and be able to operate daily out of the Brookshire, TX facility in a hybrid capacity.
Your main responsibilities:
Lead and develop the analytic capabilities within demand planning.
Ensure the right KPIs are deployed and understood.
Provide input to ensure product chains are balanced.
Support increasing automation in demand planning through system guidance and AI/ML deployment.
Build and update various reports and presentations that support the SIOP process.
Support projects at both Regional and Group levels.
Conduct monthly reviews of statistical models.
Conduct training sessions for demand planners.
Influence the Product Review and Demand Review parts of the SIOP cycle for continuous improvement and maturity.
Take part in our yearly statical planning process.
Your background:
You are experienced in delivering structured and clear analysis of complex situations. You can structure large amounts of data from various sources, extract key messages, and present them in easily readable storylines. You have experience delivering facts in a complex matrix organization, with the authority, credibility, and ability to convince people through facts and figures.
You possess the ability to collaborate effectively and build rapport with peers seamlessly. We expect approximately 20 days of travel if necessary; therefore, candidates should be able to maintain a valid passport.
We imagine that you have:
A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in demand planning and statistical forecasting.
Capability to transform complex data into easily readable decision presentations.
Customer-oriented mindset.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with SAP IBP/BW.
English proficiency.
Experience in driving projects.
Strong knowledge of statistical forecasting methods.
