Your Role and Responsibilities

He/she will be part of IBM associate graduate program which is focusing on finding of talents in IT (testing area) and providing space for them for learning, improving their knowledge and preparing them for work at IBM consulting. Future role will be Test analyst / Test executor in this job role will have an expertise in IT and software development. IBM testing team is focusing on Test automation and Gen AI testing, so we are expecting his/her growing in this role to Test automation specialist or in Gen AI testing. You can meet on projects with modern technologies as Cloud (IBM Cloud, AWS or Azure), Gen AI, AI, OpenShift etc.

In your role, you will be responsible for:

• Create/update manual Test Cases/Test documentation for the product based on Product requirements.

• Work as a Test and Automation Engineer to ensure continuous delivery of the product to the stakeholders.

• Create/Update the test environment and code, execute automated test scenarios and environments.

• Work with the development and system tests team to ensure product quality, usability, and serviceability.

• Engineer is required to fully verify functions/components for a product/system to ensure it operates properly and meets the design specifications.

• Ability to handle testing and debugging tasks independently.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Bachelor degree or above in Engineering, Information Technology, Business or related fields

• Knowledge of programming languages including SAP ABAP, Java, Microsoft .NET, or COBOL

• Strong team player with good communication (verbal/written) and interpersonal skills.

• Analytical and problem-solving skills

• Fluent in Chinese reading, listening, writing, and speaking/fluent in English reading and writing

• Less than 2 years full-time working experience

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level certification or equivalent

• Experience in other Automation frameworks, such as Selenium, Cypress ...etc.

• Good understanding of test methodology and test management in agile projects

• Experience in Manual / Automated testing

• Understanding of business domain

• Software development experience

• Cloud/Container skills (Docker, Kubernetes, Red Hat OpenShift etc.
