Job Title: Welder
Job Description
The contractor will work on the production floor in a small department assembling air outlets. The main function of the job is operating a robotic weld machine and inspecting welds. Cross-training will be provided, and employees may start in the assembly department and learn different departments before working on the robot. For repairs, parts will be given to the welder to fix.
Responsibilities
Operate robotic weld machine and inspect welds.
Use hand or power tools to assemble additional parts onto air outlets for final assembly.
Operate spot welders, punch presses, or riveting machines to assist in assembly operation.
Perform repairs on parts as needed.
Essential Skills
1 year of assembly experience.
Welding certification.
Ability to read tape measures and understand basic drawings.
Experience reading blueprints and work orders.
Ability to inspect good welds.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Welding experience is a plus; candidates right out of welding school will be considered.
Mechanical aptitude.

Work Environment
The work is not in an assembly line environment. The facility is non-climate controlled, and the department consists of 4 team members. Employees may be asked to perform various job responsibilities throughout the facility. Shift times are 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday - Thursday, with optional overtime on Friday from 6:00 AM - 11:00 AM or 2:30 PM.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00
