The PA (Public Affairs) Solutions team is seeking a senior to advanced level software engineer with Salesforce development experience to lead delivery on our team. In addition, this role will be responsible for researching and establishing the roadmaps and patterns for our team to follow in designing, developing, and implementing products and services using cloud technologies.

Key Activities

  • Applies the principles of software engineering to the design, implementation, configuration, and optimization of the Salesforce (e.g., Sales Cloud and Pardot.) This is accomplished through support of the application, databases, test automation framework and DevOps practices.

  • Demonstrates technical skill in at least one programming general purpose language (Java, C#, Python, etc.) and has proven Salesforce domain knowledge.

  • Performs peer reviews using software engineering principles, patterns, and development guidelines.

  • Partners with customers in the development of innovative solutions that achieve business goals.

  • Reviews and analyzes business and technical requirements and implements technical solutions to meet those requirements.

  • Provides on-call support, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, incident management, and service request management for supported products and environments.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Typically requires at least 6 years of relevant experience.

  • Bachelor’s degree specializing in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics), or a closely related field, from an accredited college or university, or equivalent combination of directly related education and/or experience.

  • Senior understanding of subject. Has in-depth and/or breadth of knowledge in discipline.

  • Performs work independently with limited supervision and direction. Serves as a resource for less experienced staff.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced experience with multiple programming languages (Java, JavaScript, Python, etc.)

  • Advanced knowledge of some cloud-based platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, etc. and the ability to learn new platforms.

  • Hands on experience with cloud services including planning, development, migration, and integration of applications.

  • Hands on experience in delivering Salesforce projects, primarily configuration, but potentially also custom code development (Apex)

  • Assists in elaborating and maintaining high-level project timeline/schedule.

  • Experience with setup and basic configuration of project infrastructure and tools like, Salesforce environments, Pardot environment(s), Connector, Salesforce CI/CD tooling (i.e. Flosum or Gitlab), and apps from Salesforce AppExchange.

  • Assists in elaborating and maintaining high-level project timeline/schedule.

  • Salary: $100,400 - $138,100 (Senior level)

  • Final salary and offer will be determined by the candidate’s experience and skills, as well as internal equity, and alignment with geographic and other market data.
