Responsibilities
ThePharmacy Internassists the Pharmacist in:
the support of the drug distribution systems, including patient counseling and pharmacokinetic calculations
participates in performance improvement and data collections activities.
dosage preparation, preparation of sterile admixture using aseptic technique, floor stock delivery, pre-packaging, billing, receiving, and stocking
All responsibilities are performed under the supervision of a licensed Pharmacist according to local board of pharmacy and state regulations.
providing pharmaceutical care for the following age groups: neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
This is a PRN position with flexibility
Qualifications
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
Current enrollment as a Pharmacy Student.
Current State Board of Pharmacy Certificate of Pharmacy Intern
