We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Administrator to join our client's team in KANSAS CITY, Missouri. In this role, you will handle a variety of tasks related to payroll, including maintaining accurate records, processing payroll transactions, and resolving any payroll-related inquiries. This role is grounded in the industry and requires a well-organized individual who is detail-oriented and someone that has excellent communication skills! Responsibilities:

• Accurately process and maintain all payroll transactions, including salaries, benefits, taxes, deductions, and other withholdings.

• Ensure the accurate and timely input of all compensation details in the payroll system, such as hourly rates, bonuses, per diem, and other compensations.

• Maintain compliance with all local, state, and federal payroll and wage laws, and uphold best practices.

• Handle the processing of prevailing wage rates accurately.

• Address any payroll discrepancies and respond to all employee payroll-related inquiries.

• Conduct audits and process fringe benefits like mileage.

• Manage certified payroll reporting using Points North.

• Oversee pay cards for employees who are not able to use direct deposit.

• Administer the 401(k) benefit plan, including handling weekly 401-k ACH deposits, distributions, and RMDs.

• Manage UKG processes related to payroll and job costing, including job configuration and data input for certified payrolls.

• Process Verification of Employment (VOE) requests and assist other departments with needed reporting.

Requirements • Position: Payroll Administrator

• Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role

• Proficiency in UKG Pro software

• Certification in Payroll is required

• Knowledge of Prevailing Wage is essential

• Experience in handling Multi-state Payroll is necessary
