Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Job Description

We are currently looking for an Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The individual will prepare basic engineering calculations following standard methods and principles used in similar engineering analyses. In addition, the candidate will prepare basic architectural, or mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP) design sketches for drafting and incorporation into final plans. The role involves close to moderate supervision by a more experienced architect and/or engineer.

The Electrical Design Engineer is responsible for:

• Power distribution, including riser diagrams and panel schedules.

• Low voltage infrastructure design for IT and security systems.

• Lighting design, including fixture selection and controls, and lighting calculations.

• Low-voltage systems including fire alarm, security and controls.

• Calculate loads, fault current, and voltage drop.

• Performing field surveys and construction phase support.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering

  • Proficiency in Revit

  • Experience in performing basic engineering calculations

  • Ability to prepare basic architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP) design sketches

  • MUST have experience within architectural MEP, building engineering

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Kansas City, Missouri.
