JOB TITLE: Automation and Controls Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION

Actalent is currently hiring Automation Technicians & Engineers in the Kansas City area. Qualified candidates must have some hands on experience programming and/or troubleshooting industrial controls or robotic systems.

Join our dynamic team as an Automation & Controls Engineer where you will provide technical start-up, checkout and programming for building automation and control systems. This includes interpreting Sequence of Operations (SOO), programming and troubleshooting complex electrical systems, calibrating devices, and creating automation system graphics and dashboards. Controls and Automation is one of the most in demand skillsets in the world and these roles will allow you to advance your career within the industry long-term!

HARD SKILLS

• PLC and DDC controllers

• Ladder logic, structured text, function block programming

WORK SITE

This is a fully on-site position in Kansas City.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The role requires working closely with various teams and managing multiple projects concurrently. You will have opportunities to mentor junior staff and lead significant automation projects.
