Description We are in the process of expanding our team and are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist. The role is based in KANSAS CITY, Missouri, and is within the Transportation Equipment Manufacturing industry. This role provides a contract to permanent employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Handling matching invoices to purchase orders as part of accounts payable duties

• Conducting credit card reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records

• Overseeing and managing expense reports for streamlined financial operations

• Utilizing excel for financial tasks, particularly pivot tables and vlookups

• Ensuring all customer credit records are maintained accurately

• Proactively resolving customer inquiries to maintain high customer satisfaction

• Monitoring customer accounts and taking necessary actions as per the company policies

• Processing customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency

• Utilizing Concur for expense reporting and other financial tasks. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role

• Proven expertise in Accounts Payable (AP) processes

• Prior experience in credit card reconciliation is required

• Proficiency in expense reporting

• Experience with Concur software is essential

• A background in the Transportation Equipment Manufacturing industry is preferred

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred
