Job Description Summary:

The LEND Childcare Training Program Manager will manage the Kansas LEND Childcare Training Project, which includes the training and content development for the Developmental Disability Certification Program. This person will support existing staff in evaluating, improving, and growing the current programs. As part of the program manager role, this person will work in collaboration with the Principal Investigator to enhance and refine the current certification training curriculum.

This position is in office but may be open to a hybrid schedule. Some travel around Kansas may be necessary.

Job Description:

Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor\'s degree in early childhood, education, behavior analysis, psychology, language, or related field. A combination of education and related work experience may substitute for degree on a year for year basis.

Work Experience:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience executing interdepartmental projects.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience coordinating multi-partner projects

Preferred Qualifications

Education: Master\'s degree in early childhood, education, behavior analysis, psychology, language, or related field.

Work Experience: Experience executing grant-funded projects.

Skills:

  • Strong communication skills as evidenced in work history.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills as evidenced in work history.

Job Duties:

The Program Manager job responsibilities will be to:

  • Lead Super Saturday Didactics.
  • Provide individualized support and consultation to participants throughout training year.
  • Provide support and guidance on participants individual project development (visual supports, resource lists
  • Consultation regarding challenging cases.
  • Live observation or video review.
  • Enhance and revise the current syllabus and curriculum based on participant feedback and outcome data to make it more effective and accessible.
  • Improve accountability, tracking, and individualized feedback on projects and assignments.
  • Participate in and help guide discussion groups.
  • Manage and Support Participant Communication.
  • Manage training and content development for the Developmental Disability Certification Program.
  • Create infrastructure to grow the number of providers we can train (e.g. train the trainer model, packaged modules with additional consultation and support).
  • Assist with some marketing materials and website development to support and promote the program.
  • Work with Research Assistant, Principals Investigator, and Postdoctoral fellows to evaluate, analyze, and disseminate project data and outcomes.
  • Support admin and postdoctoral fellows in providing Technical Assistance to people that reach out through the TA portal.
