Job Title: Material Handler
Job Description
The Material Handler will work in the Receiving department and be part of the internal parts area where they pull and deliver parts to our generator assembly lines. Familiarity with automotive parts is definitely a plus.
Responsibilities
Pull and deliver parts to generator assembly lines.
Handle and manage inventory using RF scanners and CMMS systems.
Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts.
Load and unload trucks efficiently.
Perform cycle counts and inventory management tasks.
Engage in data entry related to inventory control.
Ensure the safe handling of sheet metal parts.
Assist in shipping and receiving operations.
Essential Skills
6+ months of warehouse experience.
Experience with equipment operation.
Proficiency in using RF scanners and CMMS systems.
Ability to operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts.
Basic knowledge of inventory management and control.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Familiarity with automotive parts.
Experience with Microsoft Excel.
Knowledge of SAP systems.

Work Environment
You will work in a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing facility. The facility is a state-of-the-art 515,000 sq ft North American headquarters and manufacturing center located in Olathe, Kansas. The shift is from 6am to 4:30pm, with some opportunities for Saturday work when available.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kansas City, Kansas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
