Marketing Coordinator
Full-Time (40 hours)
Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
(Occasional travel to Saint John Hospital in Leavenworth, KS and other surrounding clinics)
Responsibilities
The Marketing Coordinator will play a key role in the hospital's marketing and business development strategies. This position is responsible for driving volume growth, enhancing clinical programs, expanding service lines, and fostering strong community relations. The coordinator will focus on initiatives such as post-acute care strategy, senior outreach, and event planning to support revenue and profit growth.
In collaboration with cross-functional teams, the Marketing Coordinator will help create and implement tracking systems to monitor and evaluate the impact of marketing activities on hospital growth, volume, and revenue. This includes analyzing data to assess the effectiveness of marketing efforts by program, service line, and physician, and identifying opportunities for improvement. The coordinator will also ensure that all business development activities align with the hospital’s strategic goals.
The Marketing Coordinator is also responsible for coordinating and implementing initiatives related to hospital communications, marketing, website development, public relations, social media strategy, physician relations and business development. The coordinator is also responsible for community relations and ensuring the hospital is well positioned in the community.
Qualifications
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business (Development) or related field strongly preferred
Minimum 3 years in related field (business development, sales and/or marketing) strongly preferred
Minimum 2-years’ experience in healthcare setting strongly preferred; physician relations a plus
Minimum 2-years’ field marketing/sales/business development experience strongly preferred
Independent decision making and strong communication skills required
Program planning and/or project management experience and evaluation strongly preferred
Critical thinking skills required. Must be autonomous and self-driven. Must be able to work well independently and with others.
