John Deere ISG Quality Department is looking for an

Intern & Master Thesis in the Area of Quality Engineering (m/w/d)

You will play a key role in our digitalization efforts by creating insightful scorecards that will empower the team to make data-driven decisions and achieve our quality goals. Your Responsibilities:

Intern:

  • Create dashboards to monitor the warranty data and supplier response

  • Create dashboard to track the claims, analysis, status, and response times.

  • Clustering of failure modes and trigger the corrective action process (8D Process).

  • Work on supplier warranty data and create action list.

Master Thesis:

  • Monitor the metrics from the existing scorecards

  • Measure the gap between the existing metrics and the organizational goals

  • Analyze the potential root cause for the gap

  • Determine and propose solutions & actions to bridge the gap.

What Skills You Need:

  • Understanding of Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or other business analytics tools

  • Studies in the (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) STEM fields

  • Data analysis & interpretation

  • Problem solving & root cause analysis (8D analysis, 3L5Y analysis)

  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to work in teams and independent; be reliable & engaged

  • Communication: fluent German and or fluent English
