Description

We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for a Business Analyst located in Juno Beach, Florida. This role will involve conducting operational analyses to support informed decision-making within our business unit. The selected candidate will be expected to handle small to medium special projects, engage in both quantitative and qualitative research, design and modify processes, and develop reports.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct basic operational analyses to inform decision-making processes

• Handle small to medium special projects as assigned

• Carry out both quantitative and qualitative research to support business objectives

• Design and modify business processes as needed

• Develop comprehensive reports to communicate findings and recommendations

• Enter trades into SOX Application and execute end-of-day recaps and reports

• Verify Positions and monitor daily Value at Risk and other risk-related measures

• Reconcile broker and other external statements associated with transactions

• Provide management with daily Profit and Loss and pricing information

• Handle Electronic Funds Sources and other clearing transactions

• Support the development and execution as needed for the trade capture platform in collaboration with IT Team

• Develop ad-hoc reports using SQL and Power BI

• Automate Excel-based ad-hoc reports using macros as needed

Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required

• Experience with procedures and workstation support is essential

• Knowledge of pricing and onboarding processes

• Familiarity with automation and SQL is beneficial

• Experience in staffing and consumer electronics sectors

• Ability to execute tasks and collaborate effectively with teams

• Experience working with suppliers

• Proficiency in Business Intelligence (BI) tools, particularly Power BI

• Familiarity with funds and lead special projects

• Ability to handle commission functions and work onsite

• Strong decision-making skills

• Experience managing an expense account and business unit

• Proficiency in quantitative analysis and validation plans

• Skills in Ad Hoc reporting are a plus
