Maintenance Technician Responsibilities: - Maintain machinery and equipment, performing necessary repairs - Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment - Understand and follow lock-out/tag-out procedures to ensure safety during maintenance activities - Utilize current electronic maintenance program for tracking and reporting maintenance tasks - Participate in special projects, including building new equipment, revamping existing machinery, assisting with new equipment installations, and relocating existing equipment - Assist in maintaining buildings and grounds as required by the Maintenance Supervisor ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: - Mechanical skills and basic knowledge of equipment maintenance - Basic electrical knowledge and skills - Basic computer skills and ability to use maintenance software - Proficient in basic math and ability to read a tape measure to 1/16\" - Ability to read, write, and understand fractions to 1/16\" - Ability to lift up to 50lbs - Ability to walk, stand, bend and reach throughout shift - In-house forklift trained and certified ***** APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: E-Mail a Rsum: beaverdamresumes@qpsemployment.com Apply Online: https://jobs.qpsemployment.com/jobs/736825 This position is listed by a private employment agency.
