Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Purchasing Supervisor.

What you’ll do:

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

To contribute to the profit of the division using the methods, more effective systems and procedures in the Department of Purchasing and inventory control.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Maintain communication and updates with internal customers.

• Planning and ordering the necessary materials required for the commercial centers of production.

• Maintain inventory levels of materials in accordance with the objectives set monthly.

• Proven knowledge of forecasting, demand planning, scheduling, and inventory management tools and concepts necessary to analyze optimal placement and velocity of materials required in the manufacturing and distribution process.

• Maintain the integrity of the prices to achieve cost-out.

• Establish and maintain methods for planning purchases.

• Follow up on buyer’s scorecards.

• Make sure buyers are aligned with business objectives.

• Develop the team on skills needed to perform.

• Monitor PPV & correct usage of financial accounts on purchases.

• Troubleshooting problem bills to pay our suppliers, avoiding the suspension of our credit

• Provide engineering support in the implementation of new materials.

• Provide the necessary support to production to achieve finished product goals.

• Provide necessary support EHS policies is respected in all of its contents, and contribute to the successful implementation of the E.S.P.

• Meet Talent HUB guidelines based on reviews scheduled.

• Support Supply Chain Corporate metrics and goals.

• Ensure product availability through inventory administration activities such as demand planning, stock optimization, and monitoring the age of the product. Inventory levels are set to meet customer service requirements with a minimum amount of inventory.

• PFEP alignment.

• Planning parameters maintenance

Qualifications:

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE:

• Bachelor’s Degree (L.A.E., Ing. Industrial, Lic. En Economía) o equivalent experience. Master’s degree in field is a plus.

• 90% minimum of English domain (talked and written)

• 80% minimum of domain on computational programs (Excel, Word, etc.)

• 4 or more years of experience in Supply Chain
