Position Summary:
Responsible for coordinating all activities related to field experience and teaching internship placements for teacher education candidates. This position requires an encompassing plethora of special knowledge, abilities and skills that include but are not limited to: knowledge of public schools and the ability to interact positively with clinical educators (administrators, classroom teachers, and staff) and higher education personnel (Administration, faculty and staff), and all teacher education students.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Coordinates field placements of teacher education students in P-12 schools across various states
Determine strategic initiatives that support online field placement arrangements according to various state requirements
Ensure online academic program guidelines are aligned with teacher education policies for field experiences
Establish collaborative written agreements consistent with CAEP accreditation standards that delineate the roles and responsibilities of teacher interns, clinical supervisors, university supervisors, and administrators in all field experiences.
Assist with the design and implementation of performance-based assessment
Responsible for maintaining LiveText information on clinical supervisors, university supervisors, and teacher interns
Design, develop and manage assessment reports related to field experiences
Work collaboratively with university personnel and school personnel in the supervision of field students
Collaborate with MAT coordinators to facilitate field placements
Conduct informative sessions and disseminate all necessary paperwork for all teacher education students
Disseminate and explain the classification system for a variety of field placements
Responsible for field experience placements using the diversity classification and matrix
Conduct orientation and seminar meetings for capstone teacher interns
Provide edTPA support and oversight
Provide guidance for the GoReact supervision platform
Provide training activities for university supervisors and the coordination of university supervisors in all phases of the teaching internship
Edit and update the Teacher Intern and Residency Handbooks
Assist university supervisors and clinical supervisors with supervision to be used with teacher interns and residents
Assist students and university supervisors with implementation of current, relevant technology in field experiences
Work collaboratively with field supervisors with the implementation of portfolios into the curriculum
Coordinate the Scholarship Awards related to Teacher Education candidates
Assume an active role as member of the Professional Education Programs Office and work collaboratively on projects
Other duties as assigned
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Ability to problem-solve effectively and efficiently, strong oral and written communication skills; outstanding organizational skills, assessment skills, planning skills, effective supervisory skills, strong interpersonal skills, and proficiency with technology software and application

Minimum Qualifications:
An earned Master's Degree in education or a related field
Five or more (5+) years of leadership and supervisory experience
