Position Summary:
The Administrative Analyst is responsible for conducting special research studies, analyzing data, preparing statistics, making recommendations based on research findings, and monitoring and coordinating project/program activities. This position is governed by state and federal laws and institution policy.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Maintains faculty workload among departments
Maintains various database
Coordinates special projects for dean's office
Prepares routine and advanced correspondence including letters, memoranda, spreadsheets, reports, and email
Prepares mass mailings
Prepares meeting minutes as assigned
Gathers material and research findings on assigned projects
Coordinates college faculty/staff handbook and newsletter
Coordinates college administrative initiatives
Performs receptionist duties
Collects and maintains human resource information for all college personnel
Maintains dean, associate dean, and conference room calendar
Assist with purchasing and receiving
Assist with travel arrangements and paperwork
Assist with processing personnel forms
Serves as liaison between departments and deans office
Serves as building liaison
Coordinates college-wide events (opening meetings, banquets, seminars, workshops, etc.)
Communicates deadlines and goals with department administrative specialists
Updates communication lists
Other duties as assigned
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Knowledge of planning, research, and analysis techniques and procedures. Knowledge of department operations, policies, and procedures. Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations. Knowledge of basic accounting principles. Ability to plan and execute systems and organizational analysis and feasibility studies. Ability to conduct research and perform quantitative quality assurance reviews. Ability to research, prepare, and present comprehensive written and oral reports. Ability to organize and conduct meetings and workshops.
General Days/Hours:
Monday - Friday
8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Minimum Qualifications:
The formal education equivalent of an earned Bachelor’s Degree in public administration, general business, or a related field
Other job-related education and/or experience may be substituted for all or part of these basic requirements, except for certification or licensure requirements, upon approval of the qualifications review committee
