Position Summary
Leads the fuel compliance program, overseeing government registration, vendor management, and fuel equipment maintenance. Manages fuel budgets, develops long-term plans, and serves as the primary contact for regulatory bodies during audits and inquiries.
Major Tasks and Responsibilities
Oversees compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal standards to ensure operational adherence across the organization.
Leads the development and execution of the fuel compliance program, including registration, reporting, maintenance, and vendor management.
Establishes and enforces fuel equipment standards, policies, and controls to ensure consistent compliance.
Conducts proactive audits and risk assessments to address non-compliance issues and ensure timely resolution of violations.
Trains employees in fuel compliance regulations and transportation industry standards.
Manages fuel equipment repair tracking and resolution through the work order system to ensure operational continuity.
Provides strategic insights through regular compliance reporting, identifying and mitigating operational risks.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field.
5+ years of fuel compliance or related experience.
Knowledge of transportation and fuel compliance regulations.
Certified Compliance Professional or other compliance certifications.
