We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Data Analyst in New York City.. In this role, you will be analyzing and interpreting complex data sets and transforming them into actionable business information. This is an exciting position in the industry, where you will have the opportunity to work closely with various teams to influence pricing strategies and maintain competitive advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Applying data mining techniques to analyze and interpret large sets of data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.

• Developing and maintaining modelling templates for new and conversion opportunities.

• Conducting deal margin analysis to inform pricing strategies.

• Preparing commercial package decks and deal review decks for internal review.

• Ensuring data accuracy in Salesforce through regular review.

• Providing up to date tracking for weekly report requirements.

• Collaborating with teams to forecast revenue based on different pricing scenarios.

• Adjusting pricing proactively to maintain competitive advantage.

• Handling ad hoc requests as directed by the team.

• Utilizing business intelligence tools such as Excel, SQL, and R for data visualization and analysis.

• Creating dashboards to present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.

Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role.

• Proficiency in Data Mining Techniques.

• Strong skills in Data Visualization.

• Hands-on experience with Informatica.

• Familiarity with Maps API.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

• Experience with AB Testing.

• Strong analytical skills and experience with reporting and data analysis.

• Knowledge of Business Intelligence (BI) tools.

• Ability to understand and document business requirements.

• Experience in creating interactive dashboards.

• Proficiency in Excel formulas.
