Description:

As part of Software Engineering team, this position will be an integral part of a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, energetic, and high-performing team environment at the heart of the business unit’s digital transformation. They will be on the forefront of the expansion of the advanced software capabilities. These technology initiatives are critical to enabling our business partners, to realize efficiencies and cost savings across the entire fleet

Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $50 - $80 / hr. w2

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with application developers, database architects, data analysts, and data scientists.

• Develop, construct, test, and maintain architectures for data processing.

• Design and deploy data pipelines for large complex data sets.

• Automate processes, perform data quality checks, and handle error recovery.

• Build new data pipelines and provide automated solutions for data enrichment.

• Ensure systems meet business requirements and industry practices.

Experience Requirements:

• Key Technical Skills:

• Java Spring Boot

• AWS Services (S3, EMR, Glue Jobs, Lambda, Aurora, CloudTrail, SNS, SQS, CloudWatch)

• Terraform

• EMR databases (Glue Catalog, Lake Formation, Redshift, DynamoDB, Aurora PostgreSQL)

• REST APIs and API gateways

• SQL and data warehouse architecture

• Kafka/Messaging, preferably Confluent Kafka

• DevOps pipelines using GitHub & GitHub Actions

• Additional Requirements:

• Experience with native AWS technologies for data and analytics.

• Proficiency in Python, NodeJS, and workflow automation.

• Strong background in Kubernetes, Distributed Systems, Microservice architecture, and containers.

• Deep knowledge of IAM roles and Policies.

• Experience with AWS monitoring services and Event Driven Architecture.

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
