Description:

Our client, a leading financial services firm specializing in securitized assets is seeking a Financial Java API Engineer.

We can facilitate w2 and corp-to-corp consultants. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $95 - $100 / hr. w2

Responsibilities:

• Utilize the Intex API to gather and analyze data on new securitized deals.

• Develop and implement custom classifications and rules for securitized instruments.

• Collaborate with the securitized asset team to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

• Rewrite and optimize existing code to ensure seamless integration and functionality.

• Expand the system to include additional asset classes such as agency MBS and mortgages.

• Work closely with analysts and other team members to ensure the accuracy and reliability of data and models.

• Continuously improve and enhance the system's capabilities and performance.

Experience Requirements:

• Senior level Java API experience

• Experienced with Mathematical Modeling / Linear Optimization

• Some knowledge and experience with the Intex API would be ideal.

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or MATLAB is a plus.

• Background in financial services, with a focus on securitized instruments.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Mathematics

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
