Join our team as a Precision Inspector, where you'll play a crucial role in inspecting aircraft cargo system parts using Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and handheld metrology tools.

What you will do:

• First Article Inspections: Conduct comprehensive first article inspections for new products to ensure they meet stringent quality standards.

• Product Verification: Approve products or document any nonconformances within SAP, maintaining accurate and thorough records.

• Problem Solving: Assist in nonconformance investigations, root cause, and corrective actions (RCCA) to resolve issues efficiently and effectively.

• Internal Auditing: Perform internal audits to ensure ongoing compliance with quality standards and procedures.

• Support Quality Engineering: Collaborate with the quality engineering team on problem solving, statistical analysis, calibration, and other quality assurance activities.

Qualifications we require:

• HS diploma and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience. In the absence of a HS diploma or GED, 6 years of relevant experience is required.

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position

Qualifications we prefer:

• Experience with auditing (Nadcap, ISO, AS9100, etc.)

• QMS knowledge (AS9100, ISO9001, etc.)

• Intermediate knowledge of GD&T

• Basic understanding of GD&T or blueprint reading

• Basic understanding of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
